Classic Tile & Stone, Inc.

In the fall of 2003, sisters Julie Ryan and Kristin Henaghan opened Classic Tile & Stone in Hingham and brought their many years of experience, and access to unique and exclusive tile, glass and stone to the South Shore. Before that time, the South Shore had limited access to exclusive lines and often had to travel into the Boston Design Center to find such resources. Since opening its doors, Classic Tile & Stone has quickly become a key resource for homeowners, architects, designers and builders.

Julie Ryan

Julie started her career in tile, glass and stone more than 20 years ago. Since 1987, Julie has worked with designers and architects on Newbury Street and at the Boston Design Center. Her portfolio includes a wide range of projects from across the country, including: residential renovations, commercial projects and new construction. She has worked on a variety of projects, including the World Trade Center/Convention Center subway station, common areas at Seaside in Destin, FL, health spas in Washington, D.C. and outdoor entertainment venues in South Beach, FL. Additionally, Julie has been featured on Kitchens & Baths with Joan Kohn on HGTV. By combining her years of experience and passion for design, Julie brings to her clients not only the ability to create unique and functional spaces, but spaces that reflect the vision and desires of her clients. Kristin Henaghan

After several years in the public sector as a Domestic Violence Advocate, Kristin decided to change careers. In 1992, Kristin began her new career with her sister at the Boston Design Center, where she worked in business operations. She quickly moved from the desk to the drawing board, utilizing her talent for design and color. Working with homeowners, designers, architects and builders Kristin's projects include everything from quaint seaside retreats, island getaways and ski chalets to edgy urban loft spaces. Kristin's tile design has also been featured on Channel 5's Concept House. Her attentiveness to her clients' needs and desires coupled with her product knowledge, experience and attention to detail, help her achieve her clients' design vision. From the simplest undertaking to the complexities of an entire home, she brings excitement and passion to every project.
